I’ll be honest, when it was announced that emerald was the Pantone color of the year I wasn’t overcome with excitement. I don’t own much green, despite being told countless times growing up that it would look amazing with my complexion and hair; I figure I have all the green I need in my eyes. However, in light of one of my fashion resolutions I decided to keep an open mind and see if I could find some pretty pieces that would make me green with envy and wish they were a part of my closet! I’d love to hear your opinion on the 2013 color of the year; I have a feeling you will all love it!

I love these items, especially the earrings and handbag! I don’t own a lot of emerald items, but I’m definitely looking out for some pieces. There is something so rich and sophisticated about this particulat shade of green.

That’s how I felt in 2010 when the color of the year was turquoise lol. The necklace is so pretty, the teardrop shaped jewels are so classy! I’m totally in love with the Dina pump in pretty much any color, the cut on them is so unique!

I own a couple items in this colour but not a lot. I must say though I love all jewel tones! There richness in colour is much better for my complexion than pastels. Great pick of items! The boy is going to start hating me coming on here…definitely need to blow the budget.

Emerald is my birthstone too Olivia! My first pair of earrings were emeralds and I wore them for a long time…that is until I discovered blue! I’m sure you’ll find so many amazing emerald pieces this year! xo

Ooh! That emerald coat is perfection! I’m on a hunt for brightly colored coats! My mom has deep red/ auburn hair and I love when she wears green! It doesn’t have the same pop on me, but I’ve bought a few awesome green pieces over the past year. I must be a psychic! xo
Umm yes, you totally have a jump start on the rest of us! People always say that I look amazing in green, as you mom does too, but I just have such an obsession with blues and pinks that I just don’t see it lol. I own ZERO emerald or green pieces right now so I was not that exited about it being the color of the year either. I have tho began to fall in love with it already so looks like I need to go shopping!
